3/9/17 Infographic Peer Feedback
Ali A: Good information about his top five comedians. Needed to be more specific on what the comedians won and in other places, but overall nice work.
Maria G: Favorite infographic of them all! Information from all angles. Great look at past, present, and future of Cuban embargo.
Karla P: Really interesting information, just needed more of it. Good graphics.
Tanner B: Awesome and informative graphs and charts. Loved the joke/fact about the Pope at the end.
Grace R: Good variation on facts about unemployment. Didn't know a lot of areas about unemployment that I do now.
I had fun not doing this assignment. I will have more fun doing the assignment when I get around to it.

Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information clearly and quickly. They utilize graphics often integrating statistics to enhance a person's ability to see patterns and trends. In newspapers and online articles, infographics are extremely common and used to show weather, maps, site plans, and summaries of data. Infographics are great for people with short attention spans like me, and can be used to show important statistics in a way that has more liveliness to it. One example I can think of where I might use an infographic is in AP English Literature in order to convey important background information on colonial Africa in the mid 19th century.

3/1/17 Canva vs. Lucid Press
Canva was super easy to join. LucidPress made it kind of complicated with the different business/student options at the beginning, and I couldn't go back and change what I was after I selected "teacher" on accident. Canva was very simple to use and had easy to access symbols and shapes. However, you had to pay money for several of the designs, and I think purchasing specific decorations is stupid compared to a membership option. With LucidPress, they did a little more to get me started on the advertisement designs than Canva did, but the three page limit was too restraining. Canva's documents were modern and cool, definitely trendier than LucidPress. LucidPress probably provided the most options, but I liked Canva the best due to its simplicity but also modern and hip characteristics.
